REU Meeting - 2026-06-25

This following is a brief summary of our research meeting on 2026-06-25.

Meeting summary

We briefly went over solutions to each of the exercises assigned at the last meeting. There were quite a few, so it took basically the entire meeting!

Tasks for next meeting

• Learn about classical Lie algebras by reading Chapter 3 ("Lie Algebras") in Hall and then check out the following exercises in Section 3.9: 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 13, 16, 17
