The Katrina J. Killgore Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in memory of Katrina who died from a brain hemorrhage at the age of 21 in February 1987 when she was a junior Mathematics major at Cal Poly.  While at Cal Poly, Katrina was a member of the Newman Club, Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, and the Ski Club. The scholarship supports undergraduate mathematics majors who show scholastic achievements. Must demonstrate improvement in previous Federal Work Study at Cal Poly based on quarterly GPA and math coursework.

Katrina Killgore was a junior math major who passed away suddenly in 1987. Her father, Mr. Roy Killgore, established this scholarship in 1987 in honor of his daughter and to encourage and reward students who achieve a measure of success in overall scholastic improvement.
